During Mwene-Mutapa Nyatsimba Mutota's burial, Nehanda-Nyamhita used a broad-bladed ritual knife, given to her by Mutota before his death, to split open a ruvare (rock outcrop). Mutota's body was deposited within the the gap. According to tradition, the ruware then closed over the body of Nyatsimba Mutota on its own accord --- researched by Mhare yeNhaka
